The Internationale is being archived, effective immediately. The region is locked, and I will remain as its perpetual guardian, until the will to revive it exists again.
This decision was not made lightly. Elections have been called and gone unanswered; interim officers have been appointed with limited engagement or success; our regional population has plummeted in the absence of organized attempts to maintain this region. Our Discord, once a gathering place for our region and the NationStates left as a whole, now holds only two other Comrade Members besides myself.
Sometimes, respecting a region as historically important to the NationStates left as this one was, once upon a time, means knowing when to grant to it a dignified rest. None of this changes what The Internationale has long stood for, as "a broad alliance of anarchists, socialists, communists, and other leftists united in opposition to exploitation and oppression by the forces of capitalism, imperialism, and fascism." I hope that, wherever you go next, you carry this mission and a passion for a better world with you.

I understand your position but believe there is enough of us to keep the region going even if we are not very active. I would hate to say goodbye to this region that has been my home for many years. Having said all of that, if this is really the end, thank you all for everything and farewell.

Not sure why the Communist Bloc isnt included on this list. They are the most critically important region for those seeking to make real leftist change here on Nationstates.
They are no longer a member of NSLeft, they chose their own personal onsite goals over growing the left on and offsite.
